The next Art Walk is on June 13th. Crush Footwear will host John Armstrong who will display his toy-camera photography. Mark your calendars, Art Walk is a great time to walk downtown Kirkland!
The Kirkland Wednesday Market is returning to Marina Park in downtown Kirkland on June 4th. Every Wednesday, from 2 to 7 PM, you'll find your favorite & local vendors in the park.
Join us for opening day on June 4th. The market will kick off the new season with words from the Kirkland Downtown Association, the City of Kirkland, and a few songs from the children from the Kirkland Bright Horizons. Opening ceremonies begin at 2pm outside the pavilion. Please come down and make all the vendors feel welcome by making this season the busiest yet.
Oh la la! It happens just once a year on Park Lane in Downtown Kirkland. Park Lane is transformed into a French inspired Flea Market!
There will be over 40 vendors sharing their French goodies and handcrafted treasures with us all. It is a once a year event that would be a shame to miss. I’m excited to see what treasures I will find at the market!
The market is hosted by Haley’s Cottage on Saturday July 6th, 2013 from 10am to 7pm. Come support our local small business friends! This is a once a year opportunity to be transported back to a vintage French flea market. Try something new in the sun!

Starting July 5th Kirkland will be hosting concerts in the park. On every Tuesday morning from 10am to 11am the children can enjoy music that is more at their level. Some of the bands include Recess Monkeys and The Brian Waite Band. These concerts are hosted at Juanita Beach Park. The concerts are fabulous because they are geared toward the children. I remember attending these as a child with my mom and brother. It was a great time to enjoy the sun, park, and some fun music.
Now if you are of the older audience, starting July 7th there will be all ages concerts at the Kirkland Marina. These will be hosted every Thursday night from 7pm to 9pm. There is a range in the genre of the music performing. One night a big band swing will be in Kirkland that will make you get up and dance. On another night you can experience another culture of Reggae. During the summer there is a concert for everyone! At Crush Footwear we are a lucky enough to be just around the corner and be able to hear some of the fabulous music that will be performing.
Enjoy the music and the great experience the city of Kirkland puts on for everyone. Admission is suggested $2 for adults. Free parking is also available in the lower level of the library. For information visit: http://kirklandsummerconcerts.org/
